Sandra Zlotrg, Executive Director

BCS Teacher

Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo: the Department of Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian Language and Literatures of the Peoples of BiH as well as the Department of Comparative Literature. She works as a proofreader and teaches BCS as a foreign language. She is interested in feminist linguistics and enjoys explaining why grammar makes sense. 

Ifeta Palić, Project Coordinator

BCS Language Teacher

She has a BA degree in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian Language and Literatures of the Peoples of BiH. She is currently finishing her MA studies at the Faculty of Philosophy. She has been teaching BCS as a foreign language since 2013. She likes to discuss all things pertaining to language.

Jasenka Kapetanović, Project Coordinator

English Language Teacher

Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo – the Department of English Language and Literature. She has an MA in Teaching, and she is currently finishing her MA in Translation Studies. Works as a teacher and a translator. Likes to read and travel, discover music from different countries and discuss almost everything.

Sabina Bečić, Teacher at the BCS Summer School

Teacher at the BCS Summer School

Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy: the Department of English Language and Literature. She is a high school English teacher and she teaches conversation classes at the BCS Summer School. She like to meet new people both in person and online.

Jakov Čaušević, Teacher at the BCS Summer School

Teacher at the BCS Summer School

Graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade - the Department for Oriental Studies and finished his MA in Gender Studies at the Center for Postgraduate Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Sarajevo. He has been teaching BCS at the Association since 2009. Since 2012, he has been working as a BCS teacher at the Critical Language Institute (CLI) at the Arizona State University (ASU). He is interested in language politics on the territory of former Yugoslavia, sociolinguistics and social theory. 

Selma Grahić-Bilić, Associate

BCS Language Teacher

Selma has a BA degree in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian Language and Literatures of the Peoples of BiH. She is currently finishing her MA studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. She works as a proofreader and teaches BCS as a foreign language. She likes to read and talk, to meet new people and their cultures.

Ema čustović, Associate

English Language Teacher

Ema has an MA degree from the English Department, Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. She has bachelor degrees in Pedagogy, and English Language and Literature. She works as a teacher. Her areas of interest include early education, and she enjoys teaching children too. She likes learning about new cultures, meeting new people and travelling.
