CULTURAL EVENINGS 2007
The project was intended as a series of thematically oriented cultural and educational evenings on which we present one major world culture at a time. The Association of Young Linguists and Interpreters in BiH, in cooperation with the embassies, consulates, and cultural centres of several countries in BiH, organised four thematically oriented evenings for the citizens of Novo Sarajevo Municipality.
These thematically oriented cultural-educational evenings included the promotion of the language, culture, and traditions of a certain country, a small buffet with specialties and food specific for that country, as well as a programme presenting the music, literature, and achievements of that country. The members of the Association and the citizens of Novo Sarajevo Municipality, together with the representatives of these countries in BiH, had the chance to learn about other languages and cultures in their own Municipality, enriching so themselves and their own culture.
Every evening included promotional material on the country that was presented.
