Information on Second Summer School of B/C/S language
Since we have received more applications than expected, from today ( June 1st ) we no longer accept applications for the Second Summer School. All those who have already sent their application forms need to pay the deposit of EUR 50 by June 15th. If they fail to do so, their participation will not be treated as confirmed.
On June 15th, all the applicants will receive an e-mail confirming their participation and accommodation, together with the Second Summer School syllabus and a city map.
The applicants requiring a visa to enter B&H should send their personal data (full name, address, passport validity date), so that we can send the Invitation Letters in time.

The Association of Young Linguists and Interpreters started with its first summer school of Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian last year. It was very successful and we were satisfied with the results, as were our participants. Therefore we are planning to continue with the school this summer as well.
The school will take place from middle to end of July and we will have different level groups. There are several teachers paying attention to several aspects of language learning. We are also planning a one day trip to another town or city in BiH. Classes will be held in the morning, and in the evening there will be different workshops.
This year, since the school will be held at the same time as the Sarajevo Film Festival, you will get the chance to experience Sarajevo during this incredible international festival.
The enrollment will start in March, and the price is 250 EUR if you apply for the School before June 1, 2010. If you apply after June 1, price is 300 EUR.
If you are interested in joining us this year, we will keep you posted: just send us an email and we will add it to our mailing list.
Last year we helped our students to acquire accommodation at the Students Dormitory. Since you can find motels or hostels online that are equally cheap, we do not include accommodation costs into our price.

The Summer School of the Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian language began on Monday, 20 July. On behalf of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, the opening ceremony was attended by Ms. Ruzmira Tihiæ-Kadriæ, Assistant Minister, and Isma Staniæ.
The target group of the summer school were representatives of the BH diaspora, foreigners who live and work in BiH, but also students in Slavic languages from all over the world. Eight pupils completed the school this year.
We hope that the interest will be even greater next year, and that we will be even better.
The school was imagined as an intensive two-weeks work, with evening workshops and one road trip. For those who are interested in how it all looked like, check out our web-portal bosanski.ba, and the special issue of our eMagazine lingvisti.ba.

The Bosnian language course for beginners - sign up
A new Starter group is about to start in the next week (20th January 2009). Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday (from 5.30 to 7 pm) at our office at Triglavska Street 4, 3rd floor.
The price for this two-month course is 200 KM.
